Page planning and interfacing

Interfaces to control center systems, editorial systems and advertising systems are available. Additional interfaces to do a manual or automated plate production are available. The new production system makes it possible to run the production (composition and layout) either in house or schedule this to an external provider.

Based on predefined production templates or on the fly, page objects can be created or planned either according to predefined templates or on the fly.

Pages created by the editorial system can be transferred along with made up and positioned ads. Feedback concerning layout and re-positioning information is delivered as XML-formatted metadata together with PDF and EPS page data.

Layout

To lay out and produce all the other pages, automated mechanisms

including automated make-up are provided as well as manual functions. Euporie gives you the opportunity to be more creative when laying pages than some other systems.

For this, this following functions are available:

In addition, layout systems like InDesign, open-source Scribus and

others, can be directly integrated. The whole workflow can be implemented using EPS and/or PDF.

Page production monitoring

Production data of planned items are transferred to control center

systems and plate production systems. It is possible to see an overview of a complete Edition, complete with previews.

To produce e-paper, structured data for the items to be published can be delivered to the appropriate systems. For further long-term management and control, production data can be processed and transferred to data warehouse systems.
