Telesto is a powerful PDF&Tiff toolbox especially designed for

newspaper and magazine publishers. Using hot folders, every task can

be automated. Telesto can even use information in the filename to automate the processes.

PDF creating & ink saving

The powerful Telesto PDF creator repairs unusable or damaged PDF

files and generates predictable PDF from Postscript files. This module

can also be configured to save ink (UCR/GCR) with ICC profiles.

Using the PDF placer tool, multiple PDF files can be merged using

overlays, pairing or any other imposition.

PDF preflight & Tiff tuning
Other functions include converting multi-page PDF files into single

pages and vice versa. Setting and resetting security on PDF’s and

PDF preflight is also possible. The preflight uses many criteria to verify the PDF file. If an error or warning is found an automated process will try to repair the problem whilst sending you an Email.

Telesto is also a powerful Raster Image Processor that lets you create

color separated TIFF files from almost any Postscript or PDF file.

A unique feature allows Tiff files to be corrected for dot gain compensation.
